El B&B Battistero Tourist House es una opción genial para alojarse en Florencia.
Se encuentra situado a unos 500 metros andando de la Estación de Santa María Novella,
y a menos de 100 metros del Duomo.
Este B&B se encuentra en la segunda planta de un edificio antiguo, donde se encuentran
situados otros B&B. Para acceder al interior del B&B disponemos de una llave, aunque
también podemos utilizar un código electrónico.
El B&B es un piso que ha sido dividido en varias habitaciones, cada una de las cuales
dispone de baño propio.
Nuestra habitación era muy amplia. La cama de matrimonio era enorme.
Las habitaciones disponen de dos armarios, una pequeña mesa de escritorio y una silla.
También encontraremos un pequeño sillón y una mesita. Sobre el escritorio encontramos un
calentador de agua para preparar te o café. Junto al escritorio encontramos un mueble nevera.
Sobre este mueble, encontramos un televisor LCD.
El suelo de la habitación es de tarima.
Existe Wifi gratuito en las habitaciones.
El baño es quizás un poco pequeño, pero muy limpio. Los azulejos simulan gresite.
Dispone de secador de pelo y un pequeño kit de gel de ducha y champú.
La ducha es un poco estrecha.
A diferencia de otros alojamientos de este tipo, te hacen la cama cada día y te ordenan
el cuarto.
En nuestra habitación, no se percibía el ruido de la calle y apenas notamos el repicar
de las campanas del Duomo.
El personal del B&B es muy atento y educado. En nuestro caso, Doménico nos resolvió
todas las dudas que tuvimos. Es importante comprobar la hora de llegada al B&B ya
que a partir de las 18:30 no suele haber nadie en la recepción.
El único comentario negativo, por decir alguno, es que en la página web no queda 100%
claro si el desayuno está incluido o no. Este B&B no ofrece desayunos, pero en frente del
edificio hay varias cafeterías donde desayunar por muy poco dinero.
En mi opinión este B&B presenta una relación calidad-precio inigualable ( ejemplo: 3 Noches
Jueves, Viernes y Sábado en Semana Santa por 250€, en la pagina web del B&B. La tasa turística
de 2 € por persona, por día se paga a parte ).
Si tuviera que repetir visita en Florencia, me alojaría de nuevo en este B&B sin dudarlo.

B&B Battisterio Tourist House is a wonderful option to stay in Florence.
This B&B is located 500 metres away approximately from Santa María Novella
train station, and what is even more important, 100 metres away from Duomo.
This B&B is placed on the second floor of a building where other B&B are also
located. To get into the B&B, either you make use of a normal key or you can
use an electronic code to get access into the flat.
The B&B is a flat that has been divided into several rooms, each of them having
their own bathroom.
Our room was really really large and the bed was big.
The room has 2 wardrobes, and a small desk with a chair. There is also an armchair
and a little table. Over the desk there is a heater to prepare coffee or tea. By the
desk, we will find a little fridge. On top of the frigde, there is an LCD TV.
The floor is made on wood.
The bathroom is a little bit small, but really clean. The shower is quite narrow.
There is a hairdryer and a toiletries kit.
Compared to other accommodation of this kind, the bed is done everyday and some basic
cleaning of the room too.
In our room, the noise from outside was not perceived, and the bells from Duomo were
hardly heard.
The B&B staff is really polite and helpful. In our case, Doménico solved all the questions
we had. It is important to check the arrival time at the B&B, as there is none in the
reception after 18:30.
The only negative comment, if any, is that in the website it is not 100% clear if breakfast
is included or not. This B&B does not offer breakfast, although in front of the building there
are several coffee shops where you can have breakfast for a low price.
In my opinion, this B&B presents an unique quality-price relationship ( for example: 3 nights
Thursday, Friday and Saturday during Eastern for 250€ booking directly in the B&B website
www.touristhousebattistero.it . The tourist tax - 2€ per person per night - is paid directly
at the B&B ).
If I had to visit Florence again, I would stay in this hotel for sure.
