Nuestra reserva no incluía desayuno.

The "Mercure Bristol Brigstow Hotel" is a very good option to stay in Bristok, UK.
The hotel is located in the "Old City" area, 5 minutes walking distance to Queen Square. The closest bus stop for the Airpot Bus Flyer Express A1, that communicates the aiport with the city centre, is located in front of St Mary Redcliffe church at 10 minutes walking distance. Temple Meads train station is 15 minutes walking distance.
The hotel is placed in front of the river canal.
The reception area is not very big, but the big windows with views to the river canal provokes the impression that this area is wider. From the reception it is possible to access the bar-dinning room area where the breakfast is served.
As most of the british hotels, the long corridors that lead to the rooms are covered with carpets. In our case, we stayed in room 609, in the sixth floor.
The standard rooms are quite big compared to the normal size of this type of rooms in the same type of hotels. The style is quite modern. These rooms have wooden floors.
The Queen Size bed is really comfortable.
The room has a small desk with its own chair. Over the desk there are tee/coffee making facilities. By the desk there is a plasma TV with International Channels ( although these are very limited ). There is also a small fridge too.
In the room we can also find an armchair with its footrest. There is a wardrobe where we can place our clothes.
The Wifi access in the rooms is free.
The bathroom is also big for a standard room. There are shower and bathtub. Both the bathroom and the room are really clean.
The toiletries such as the shower gel, the shampoo, etc... they are provided every day.
There is air conditionned in the room, although in winter and spring the heating system is on and centralized. In fact, the temperature in the room was really high for this period of the year, and it could not be modified by means of the AC system.
Our room located in the sixth floor was quiet. The views from the windows located in this side of the building are facing a parking area so they are not very nice.
The hotel staff are very polite and caring. Some members in the reception are spanish.
The breakfast service was not included in our booking.
From my point of view, this hotel has a good quality/price ratio. ( Example: Double room with bathroom, 4 nights Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday on April 2016, without breakfast for a price of 334 € + 2000 Accor Points booking in advance in the own hotel Web site http://www.accorhotels.com/es/hotel-6548-mercure-bristol-brigstow-hotel/index.shtml ).
If I had to visit again Bristol, I would probably stay again in this hotel. My only doubt is to know is during summer time the air conditionned system will work properly. Otherwise the stay could be really hard.
