El hotel se encuentra situado a 500 metros de la estación de metro Olympic Park ( Linea 8 ). El Cubo de Agua ( Centro de Deportes Acuáticos ) y el Nido de Pájaro ( Estadio Olímpico ) se encuentran a 1,5 kms caminando desde el hotel. Sin embargo este hotel se encuentra muy retirado del centro de Pekin. Por ejemplo, se necesita casi 1 hora para llegar en metro a la Plaza de Tiananmen o al Palacio de Verano.

Frente a la cama encontramos un mueble con cajoneras y sobre éste se encuentra un televisor de plasma con canales internacionales ( aunque bastante limitados ).

El suelo de la habitación es de moqueta.
La cama de matrimonio es bastante grande y cómoda.
El acceso Wifi en las habitaciones es gratuito.
El baño también es amplio y limpio, y su estilo es bastante moderno ( salvo la ducha )

La reserva incluía desayuno. Éste tiene lugar en una planta intermedia del hotel. El desayuno es variado en cuanto a productos típicos de la gastronomía china, pero falta más variedad en otro tipo de productos más occidentales ( fruta, embutidos, cereales, etc... )

Si tuviera que repetir visita en Pekín, en el área Olímpica, probablemente me volvería alojar en este hotel. Pero si el motivo de la estancia es visitar los monumentos más importantes del centro de Pekin, buscaría sin duda un hotel que estuviera mucho más cerca.

The China National Convention Center Grand Hotel - CNCC Grand Hotel is a cheap option to stay close to the Olympic Sites area.
The hotel is located at 500 metres from the Olympic Park ( Line 8 ) metros station. The Water Cube ( National Aquatic Center ) and the Bird's Nest ( National Stadium ) are at 1,5 kms walking from the hotel. However, the hotel is located far away from Pekin city center. As an example, it takes 1 hour by metro to reach Tiananmen Square or the Summer Palace.
The reception of this hotel is quite large. Close to the main entrance the concierge service desk is located. The concierge service will keep your suitcases while you visit the city for free when neeeded.
The long corridors that provide access to the rooms are on carpet.
The rooms are quite big, with a modern style. They are quite clean.
At the room entrance there is a wardrobe where we can place our clothes. In one of the 3 modules of the wardrobe there is a small safe. In the third module we can find tee/coffee making facilities. When staying at the chinese hotels is very common that some bottles of water are offered to the guest for free.
In front of the bed we can find a modern piece of furniture with drawers. On top of it there is a Plasma TV with some international channels ( not too many ). By its side, there is a small desk with its corresponding office chair.
The floor of the room is on carpet.
The queen bed is quite big and confortable.
The Wifi access in the rooms is free.
The bathroom is modern ( except the shower ), functional and clean. The toiletries such as the shower gel, the shampoo, etc... they are provided every day. As in other hotels in China the quality of the toiletries, specially the toothbrush, is quite remarkable.
There is air conditionned in the room.
Our room, located in the sixth floor with views to the Olympic Forest Park was quiet.
The hotel staff speaks english properly. Although they are polite, the were not very caring. While checking in, they stopped attending me to take care of some chinese guests that were already attended by other hotel staff.
The booking included the breakfast. It is provided in an intermediate floor. The breakfast is variated in terms of chinese typical products but I was missing some more variety when it comes to more "western food" products ( cereals, fruit, cold meat, etc... )
From my point of view, this hotel offers a good quality-price relationship ( Example: Double Superior room, 1 Night on a Wednesday September 2015 with breakfast by 670 CNY ( 96,74€ ) at english.ctrip.com web site ).
If I have to stay again in Pekin, in the Olympic area, I would probably stay again in this hotel. On the other hand, if the purpose of staying in Pekin is to visit the most important monuments and buildings located in the city centre, then I would look for a hotel closer to the center.
