lugar, el hotel se encuentra a 50 metros de la estación Powell St. del tren BART. Este tren
permite la conexión entre el aeropuerto de San Francisco y el centro de la ciudad. Además
también podemos encontrar varias paradas de autobuses y tranvías en Market Street, con lo cual
tenemos conexión con todos los puntos de la ciudad.
Nada más entrar en el hotel, impresiona la recepción, que no se encuentra en la planta baja
como es habitual, sino en la primera planta.
hablan en castellano, y siempre están dispuestos a ayudar en lo que puedan. En nuestro caso,
nos ofrecieron la posibilidad de elegir entre una habitación con vistas, o una habitación muy
amplia. Nosotros nos decantamos por la habitación con vistas, y ésta era enorme. Como sería
la habitación amplia !!
La habitación es enorme. La habitación dispone de un área principal donde encontraremos
una cama King, un escritorio ( sobre el que encontraremos un calentador de agua para
preparar té o café ), y un pequeño mueble frente a la cama, sobre el cual encontraremos
una enorme televisión de plasma. El suelo de la habitación es de moqueta. Todo el frente
de la habitación es un enorme ventanal que ofrece vistas al Skyline de San Francisco.

Si tuviera que visitar San Francisco de nuevo, me alojaría sin dudarlo en este hotel.
Como último comentario querría indicar que San Francisco es un lugar donde encontraremos muchas
personas sin hogar deambulando por las calles. En mi opinión, este no es un motivo para descartar
este hotel, ya que como comento, la zona en la que se ubica el hotel es tranquila comparada con
otras zonas.

Parc Fifty Five Hotel es very good option to stay in San Francisco. First of all, the hotel is located
50 metres away from Powell Station for BART train. This train allows the connection between SFO
airport and the city centre. We can also find several bus and tram stop in Market Street, so we will
have connection towards all city areas.
Just after entering into the hotel, we will be impressed by the reception. This reception is not located
in the ground floor as usual, but in the first floor instead.
The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. On one hand, almost all the employees speaks in spanish,
and they are always willing to help on what is on their hands. In our case, they offered us to choose
between a room with views to the Skyline, or to take a bigger room. We decided to take the room
with views and it was really big, so I cannot imagine how big would be the other room !!
As I said, the room is huge. The room contains a main area where we will find a King bed, a desk
( on top of it we will find coffee and tea making facilities ), as well as a small cupboard located in
front of the bed, where we will see a wide screen plasma tv. The floor is covered by a carpet. Instead
of a wall, we will have a front window pannel with views to San Franscico Skyline.
Besides, the room includes a dresser, where we will be able to leave our luggage, but also we will
find an iron machine together with an iron board.
The bathroom is very clean and wide, although maybe the style is a little bit old fashioned.
The hotel presents a great quality-price relationship ( example: 3 nights - Thursday, Friday and
Saturday - for 248,1 €, in March 2010, booking at www.hotels.com website. This rate does not
include breakfast ).
If I had to visit again San Francisco, I would stay in this hotel again for sure.
As a last comment, I would like to explain that San Francisco is a city where we will find a great
amount of homeless people walking by the streets. From my point of view, this is not an argument
to discard this hotel, as the area close to this hotel is quite quiet compared to other areas of this city.
