Escocia. Quizás su punto más positivo es la ubicación, ya que se encuentra
a unos 3 minutos andando de la parada del autobús Airlink 100, que comunica
el aeropuerto con el centro de la ciudad, y a unos 20 minutos andando de la
estación de tren de Waverley.
El hotel ha sido remodelado recientemente, aunque en mi opinión ha sido
suficiente.
La recepción es muy pequeña, y tras unas puertas llegamos al ascensor. Éste
es estrecho y lento. Además, los fluorescentes producen un calor horrible,
lo cual en verano hace que cuando llegues a la habitación ya estés sudando.
Las habitaciones son pequeñas y no disponen de aire acondicionado.

La ventana abatible no es de gran ayuda, y lo peor de todo es que si llueve,
se filtra agua ya que no tiene un buen aislamiento.
Como mobiliario la habitación dispone de un escritorio con su silla.
con una única balda, lo cual limita mucho las opciones para colocar nuestra ropa.
La televisión es de plasma. También disponemos de un calentador de agua para
preparar té o café. El WiFi es gratuito, aunque tenemos que renovarlo cada 24 horas.
Es suelo está plastificado ( muy extraño la verdad ) y aunque está limpio, no lo
parece.
Aunque el precio del hotel no es caro en días de fin semana ( Ejemplo: 3 Noches de
Viernes, Sábado y Domingo julio 2013 por 290,69 € sin desayuno en la propia página del
hotel http://cityroomz.com/ ), yo creo que la calidad del hotel es bastante pobre.
Si tuviera que repetir visita en Edimburgo, no repetiría alojamiento en este hotel
y buscaría otras opciones.

The Cityroomz Hotel is a quite poor option to stay in Edinburgh. Maybe the strongest
point is the location, as the hotel is located 3 minutes walking distance from the
Airlink 100 bus stop that connects the airport with the city centre, and 20 minutes
walking distance from the Waberley train station.
The hotel has been recently refurbished, although from my point of view it was not
enough.
The reception is really small, and behind some doors there is a lift, very narrow
and slow. Besides, its fluorescent tubes produce a horrible heat, so during summer
you will be sweating when leaving the lift.
The rooms are small and have no air conditioned.
The truth is that even in our pictures, the rooms looks much better than reality.
We had the same feeling after taking a look into the pictures published in the
hotel web site.
As there is no A.C, during summer, it is too hot in the room. The hinged window
does not help too much, and what is even worst, in case or rain, the water leaks
as the isolation is poor.
As pieces of furniture there is a desk with a chair.
The room has no wardrobe or drawers, and there is only a small shelf that makes
difficult to set our clothers. There is a plasma TV. Coffee and tea making facilities
are present as well. The WiFi access is free, although it has to be renewed every 24 hours.
The bathroom is really narrow, without very much space for our toiletries. The floor
in the bathroom is made of some kind of plastic that, although it is clean, it seems
that it does not.
The staff of the hotel is helpful and polite.
Although the price of the hotel is not expensive during weekends ( Example:
3 Nights Friday, Saturday and Sunday July 2013 - 290,69 € breakfast NOT
included, when booking at hotels web site http://cityroomz.com/ ), I believe
that the quality of the hotel is quite poor.
If I had to stay in Edinburgh again, I would not repeat in this hotel and I would
look for other options.
