Suecia - Estocolmo - Sheraton Stockholm Hotel

En mi opinión, el Sheraton Stockholm Hotel es un hotel demasiado
caro para lo que ofrece.

Es cierto que el hotel está muy bien ubicado, a unos 300 metros
de la estación Central de tren y del metro. Y también está a tiro
de piedra de Gamla Stan ( el casco antiguo ).

Pero también es cierto que en España, por 180€ la noche, obtienes
un hotel mejor, y un servicio mucho mejor.

Las habitaciones son relativamente grandes ( insisto que para el
precio que cuestan, en otros hoteles tendrías una junior suite
de dos ambientes ). El suelo es de tarima, que es de agradecer
y el estilo de la habitación esta a caballo entre lo antiguo
y lo moderno ( tengo la sensación de que han remodelado las
habitaciones pero mantienen un toque clásico ).

La habitación dispone de televisión de plasma con gran variedad
de canales internacionales. También disponen de un calentador
de agua para preparar te o café. Existe Wifi gratuito en las
habitaciones ( es necesario solicitar un código en recepción ).

El baño es bastante amplio y también guarda un estilo entre
moderno y clásico.

En nuestra habitación, no se percibía el ruido de la calle.

El hall del hotel es genial. Tiene muy buen ambiente para tomar
una copa relajado.

El desayuno fue una de las grandes decepciones. Para ser un
5 estrellas, en mi opinión le falta variedad. Apenas había fruta
por ejemplo.

En mi caso, reservé este hotel por motivos de trabajo y por
la falta de disponibilidad. Si tuviera que visitar Estocolmo
por ocio, buscaría otras opciones más económicas, ya que
180€ la noche en este hotel me parece excesivo.

From my point of view, the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel is too
expensive considering what this hotel offers.

It is true that the hotel is really good located, 300 metres away
from the Stockhol Central Train and Metro stations. The hotel
is also very closed to Gamla Stan ( the Old town ).

But it is also true that in Spain, for 180€ per night, you obtain
a better hotel and a better service.

The rooms are big ( although I insist that for the price, in
other hotels you could get a junior suite with at least 2 ambients ).
The floor is made of wood, that is something I really appreciate.
The style of the rooms are something in between the classic style
and a modern style ( I had the feeling that the hotel has been
re-styled although keeping a classic style in the rooms ).

Plasma TV and free WiFi access are available in the room ( although
it is needed to request a WiFi access code at the reception desk ).
Coffee and tea making facilities are present as well.

The bathroom is quite wide and it also has a style in between the
classic style and a modern style.

In our room, no noise from the outside was perceived.

The reception area of the hotel looks great. There is a good
ambience to take a drink very relaxed.

The breakfast was really disappointing. For a 5 stars hotel,
in my opinion, there is not enough variety. As an example
there were not too many kind of fruits.

In my case, I booked this hotel for business purposes and
the lack of availability in other hotels. If I had to visit
Stockholm again on vacation, I would look for other cheaper
alternatives, as 180€ per night is really expensive.
