El hotel se encuentra situado a unos 15 minutos caminando hasta la Estación Central de tren de Milán; a unos 5-6 minutos caminando hasta la estación de metro de Repubblica ( Linea M3 ); a unos 7-8 minutos caminando hasta la estación de metro Porta Venezia ( Linea M1 ). Quizás está algo retirado del centro ya que el Duomo se encuentra a unos 25-30 minutos caminando desde el hotel. Los tranvías números 1 y 33 también pasan junto al hotel, por Via Lazzaretto.

En otra zona del lobby encontramos un área muy amplia con varios ordenadores que podemos usar para consultar internet o realizar el checkin de nuestro vuelo.
Las habitaciones tienen un tamaño razonable, con un estilo moderno y bastante limpias. Disponen de una estantería con perchas donde podemos colocar nuestra ropa. En las repisas de la estantería encontramos una pequeña caja fuerte. Frente a la cama hay un pequeño escritorio sobre el que encontramos un televisor de plasma con una gran variedad de canales internacionales. Por desgracia la habitación no dispone de ninguna maquina para preparar café o té. El suelo de la habitación es de madera.

El baño tiene un tamaño normal, es moderno, funcional y limpio. Los útiles de baño como jabón de manos o el gel de ducha y champú son recargables.

Nuestra habitación, situada en la quinta planta no era ruidosa. Quizás las habitaciones que dan a Via Lazzaretto perciban el ruido del tranvía.
El personal del hotel es atento y educado, aunque son bastante lentos durante el checkin y el checkout.
Nuestra reserva no incluía desayuno. El desayuno tiene lugar en la planta baja del hotel.
En mi opinion este hotel presenta una muy buena relación calidad-precio reservando con bastante anticipación ( Ejemplo: 5 Noches de Jueves a Martes en Enero de 2015 por 330,65€ en la propia web del hotel; A esta cantidad debemos de sumarle una tasa turística de 4€ por persona y noche que debemos de pagar en el propio hotel ).
Si tuviera que repetir visita en Milán intentaría buscar algún hotel más cercano al centro, si la oferta lo permite. De cualquier forma este hotel es muy recomendable por su relación calidad-precio y su situación.

The Ibis Milano Centro Hotel is an economic option to stay in Milan, Italy.
The hotel is located at 15 minutes walking distance from Milan Central Train Station; 5-6 minutes walking distance from Repubblica Metro Station ( M3 Line ); 7-8 minutes walking from Porta Venezia Metro Station ( M1 Line ). From my point of view, the hotel is somehow away from the center of the town ( The Duomo is 25-30 minutes walking from the hotel ). Trams number 1 and 33 are passing by the hotel, through Via Lazzaretto street.
The reception area of this hotel is quite wide and with a very modern style. There are several queues to perform the checking. There is also a room where we can leave our suitcases if needed.
In this area we can find a restaurant and a bar too. In my opinion, the bartender should improve their attention to the customers. One afternoon, when we came back early to the hotel, we decided to take a coffee at the bar. We were waiting for more than 15 minutes for our order, so in the end we decided to leave.
At the reception, this is a wide area dedicated to internet access with multiple computers to be used either to surf in the web, to do the checking of our next flight, etc ...
The rooms have a reasonable size, with a modern style. They are quite clean. In the room we can find a shelf with hangers where we can place our clothes. In the shelf we can find an small safe. In front of the bed, there is small desk and on top of it there is a Plasma TV with multiple international channels. Unfortunately, there are no tee/coffee making facilities. The floor of the room is in wood.
The queen bed is quite big and comfortable although the pillows are too soft.
The Wifi access in the rooms is free.
The bathroom has a normal size. It is modern, functional and clean. The toiletries such as the shower gel, the shampoo, etc... are rechargable.
The Air Conditionned is quiet, what is highly appreciated specially at night.
Our room, located in the fifth floor, was not noisy. Maybe the rooms with view to Via Lazzaretto street perceive the noise from the tram.
The hotel staff is polite and caring, although they are a little bit slow at the checkin and checkout.
Our booking did not included the breakfast service. The breakfast takes place at the restaurant in the reception area.
From my point of view, this hotel offers a very good quality-price relationship if booking with time in advance ( Example: 5 Nights from Thursday to Tuesday January 2015 by 330,65€ at the hotel web site; To this amount it is needed to add a touristic task of 4€ per person and per night that should be paid at the hotel ).
If I had to stay again in Milan I would try to look for another hotel closer to the town center if the price allows it. In any case, I recommend this hotel due to its good quality-price relationship and its location.
